CHAPTER IV  

11.

 Term of office of nominated members of District Authority and Taluk Committee :-

The term of office of the nominated members of District Authority and Taluk Committee shall be three years.

12.

 Disqualification :-

A nominated member of the High Court Committee, District Authority and Taluk Committee who fails to attend three consecutive meetings of the Committee or Authority concerned shall cease to be a member:

Provided that the Chairman of the Committee or Authority, as the case may be; may restore his membership on the recommendation of the Committee or Authority concerned on showing sufficient reasons.TOP

13.

 Travelling Allowance and Daily Allowance to the non-official members of the District Authority and sitting fee to the non-official members of the Taluk Legal Services Committee :-

  1. Travelling Allowance and Daily Allowance shall be paid to the non-official members of the District Authority who have attended the meeting or participated in the programmes, by the Secretary with the approval of the Chairman.

  2. A sitting fee of Rs. 50/- per day shall be paid to the non-official members of the Taluk Legal Services committee for attending the meeting or any programme.TOP
